Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments and injuries. This role involves working closely with patients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans that promote recovery and enhance mobility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical history.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and health management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical terminology in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certification in pelvic floor therapy is an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
