Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems (minimum 3 years of experience) and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions for their electrical needs. This role is customer-facing and requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in and call-in customers with product selection and technical support.
- Provide accurate quotes, process sales orders, and follow up on inquiries.
- Offer expert guidance on electrical products, including breakers, panels, and related components.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and delivery.
- Stay up to date on product lines, new technologies, and industry standards.
- Handle returns, warranty issues, and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain an organized sales area and support general branch operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the electrical industry (sales, service, or technical).
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, systems, and applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven customer service and sales abilities.
- Proficient with computers and sales systems (experience with ERP systems is an asset).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in electrical or technical fields is an asset.
