Sarens Design & Contracting Inc. is a rapidly growing residential builder specializing in custom homes, developments, and high-end renovations throughout Manitoba.
As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a highly organized, driven Construction Project Coordinator to become an integral part of our leadership team.
This is not an administrative role.
We're looking for someone who wants to build a career in construction management and eventually grow into a Project Manager or Operations Manager position.
You'll work directly with ownership, our Site Superintendent, designers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects run efficiently from start to finish.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Project Coordination
- Coordinate multiple residential construction projects simultaneously
- Maintain detailed construction schedules
- Schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Coordinate inspections and occupancy requirements
- Track project milestones and completion dates
- Attend job site meetings and internal production meetings
Purchasing & Procurement
- Issue purchase orders
- Order construction materials
- Coordinate deliveries
- Verify lead times with suppliers
- Track backorders and resolve supply issues
Project Administration
- Maintain project files and documentation
- Update Contractor Foreman and internal tracking systems
- Manage change orders
- Coordinate shop drawings and product approvals
- Track RFIs and outstanding decisions
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes
Client Coordination
- Communicate project updates to clients
- Follow up on selections and approvals
- Coordinate information between designers, trades, and homeowners
- Ensure client decisions are received on schedule
Team Support
- Support the Site Superintendent with scheduling and logistics
- Coordinate with designers to ensure selections are completed before construction deadlines
- Assist ownership with budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning

Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction coordination or project management experience preferred
- Residential construction experience is considered a major asset
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Contractor Foreman, Buildertrend, Procore, or similar construction software is an asset
- Valid Manitoba driver's licence

Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
