Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of our clinic. This role is essential to keeping our practice running smoothly and supporting both our veterinarians and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Respond to client emails and texts promptly and effectively
- Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments and farm calls
- Prepare and package laboratory samples for delivery
- Run in-house bloodwork and maintain accurate records
- Monitor inventory levels and place supply orders as needed
- Assist veterinarians with invoicing and billing processes
- Monitor accounts receivables
- Oversee basic equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when required
- Communicate and report laboratory results to clients
- Maintain and update the clinic website with relevant information
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office management role (veterinary or medical experience is an asset)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with computers and common office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Equine-specific knowledge and experience is an asset
