Cashier/Kitchen Assistant
Sudbury’s Best Poutine is looking for part time seasonal Cashiers / Kitchen Assistants. We need an outgoing and reliable person with great communication and customer service skills, and a friendly demeanour. You should have:
- Kitchen experience including cooking and food preparation in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to multi-task while staying calm and organized
- Customer service experience
- Basic computer literacy for operating the point of sale system
- Experience working as part of a team
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting kitchen staff in preparing and packaging take-out orders, and maintaining inventory. Note: you must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Greeting and assisting customers, taking orders and payment, relaying orders to kitchen staff, and announcing/handing out orders to customers
Training provided:
- You’ll have paid training shifts before we open to customers for the season.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
