As Manager, Retail Sales you are responsible for leading all sales activities with full accountability for sales performance, revenue growth and developing relationships with members.
Position Type: New Position
Salary Range: $80,000 -$115,000
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Driving the achievement of sales, referrals and growth targets.
- Ensuring successful implementation of corporate sales initiatives and strategies.
- Delivery of member service with a commitment to quality, trust and professionalism.
- Maintaining strong collaboration with the Assistant Manager, Retail Operations.
- Sales leadership and performance.
- Coaching and professional development of our WFCU sales team.
- Adhering to and complying with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for include the following:
- A solid knowledge of financial products, services, and sales practices.
- Post-secondary education in finance or business (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in managerial positions.
- At least 3 years of prior experience in the financial services industry is required.
- Strong ability to successfully motivate a team to achieve sales goals.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and coaching high performing sales teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility for occasional travel within southwestern Ontario.
These additional skills are also considered assets:
- Experience working in the credit union system.
