What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks
- Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely manner
- Read and interpret diagrams and schematics
- Diagnose and repair after-treatment systems
- Perform welding on aluminum and steel
- General heavy truck diagnostics and repair
What We’re Looking For
- Red Seal Journeyman Certification preferred (not required – experience will be considered)
- CVIP license in Whitehorse is an asset
- Experience with Detroit Diesel and Cummins engines
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Class 1 or 3 is an asset
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (asset)
- Comfortable using diagnostic software
- Must have own hand tools (specialty tools provided by shop)
- Follows safe work practices
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varying conditions
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
