About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to supervise plumbing crews on large construction projects.
Applicants must have a minimum of two years of direct experience working as a Plumbing Foreman or in a comparable plumbing supervisory role. Applicants without the required foreman experience will not be considered.
The successful candidate will be a dependable, organized and safety-conscious leader with the ability to plan work, direct field personnel, coordinate with other trades and maintain project schedules and quality standards.
This position also requires proficiency with construction software and mobile applications used for drawings, reporting and project documentation.
Compensation Package
- $54.50 per hour

Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide direction to plumbers and apprentices
- Plan daily and weekly work activities and allocate manpower effectively
- Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Coordinate plumbing installations with project management, site supervision and other trades
- Use construction software and mobile applications to access drawings, complete reports and maintain project documentation
- Order materials and ensure they are available when required
- Monitor productivity, workmanship and project schedules
- Ensure installations comply with applicable codes, specifications and quality standards
- Identify and help resolve site conflicts and construction issues
- Conduct regular quality-control inspections
- Maintain accurate site documentation and communicate project progress
- Enforce company safety policies and site-specific requirements
- Mentor apprentices and support the development of field personnel
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of direct experience as a Plumbing Foreman or in a comparable plumbing supervisory position
- Extensive commercial or multi-residential construction experience
- Demonstrated experience supervising plumbers and apprentices
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with construction software, mobile applications and digital documentation
- Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Valid BC driver’s licence
Gas certification is considered an asset.
Schedule and Work Location
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time, permanent
- Overtime may be available or required depending on project requirements
- In-person work at various project locations throughout Metro Vancouver
