Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Farm Stand Retail Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and promoting our fresh produce and products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Multilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus, helping to enhance customer interactions and sales performance.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in selecting products and answer questions about produce and merchandise
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized displays and ensure the stand is clean, attractive, and well-stocked
- Manage inventory levels and notify management of low stock or product issues
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a welcoming environment for all customers
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of merchandising, POS systems, and basic math skills are advantageous
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., English plus another language) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential
- A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for farm-fresh products will contribute to success in this role
Pay: $17.60 per hour
