Graphic Designer – Signage & Production
SignNation is looking for a skilled, full-time Graphic Designer to join our design and production team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical design abilities, a sharp eye for visual presentation, and experience developing signage concepts and production-ready artwork. The successful candidate will work closely with our project managers, fabricators, installers, and other designers to help move projects smoothly from initial concept through fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for:
- Creating signage concepts, layouts, presentation drawings, and visual mockups
- Preparing clear, professional client proofs and revision packages
- Developing accurate, production-ready artwork and technical files
- Working with project managers, fabricators, and installers to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and achievable
- Reviewing site photographs, measurements, architectural information, brand standards, and client direction
- Making revisions accurately and efficiently
- Supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, custom-production environment
- Identifying potential production or installation challenges during the design process
- Maintaining organized project files and clear communication throughout each stage of a project
- Supporting the continued development of SignNation’s design and production standards
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional experience designing signage, environmental graphics, retail displays, branded environments, or architectural graphics
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- The ability to prepare clean, accurate, and properly organized production files
- An understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, vinyl applications, large-format printing, dimensional signage, and installation requirements
- Strong technical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects, revisions, priorities, and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative, organized, and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to accept feedback and translate direction into accurate design revisions
Experience working directly within the signage or custom-fabrication industry is strongly preferred.
Position Details
- Position: Full-time, permanent
- Salary: $55,000–$62,000 per year, based on experience

Pay: $55,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
