Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Optical Sales Associate or Optician Assistant with previous optical experience to join our team in Brampton. In this role, you will assist customers with their eyewear needs and support our opticians in delivering exceptional eye care services. This position plays a vital part in helping us fulfill our commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in selecting eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses.
- Provide information on product features and benefits using medical terminology.
- Support eye care professionals during eye exams and lens fitting procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean store environment.
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately.
- Educate customers on proper contact lens use and maintenance.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in optical retail or related field.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Optical retail sales experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Wink or similar optical management software is a plus.
- Customer-focused attitude with a professional appearance.
