Superior Finishes is a progressive and long established manufacturer of Industrial Coatings for the OEM Markets. We are a growth company, now in our 34th year of operations, and are located in a large modernized facility in Winnipeg's Inkster Industrial Park. We are looking to expand our production team.
We currently have immediate openings in our manufacturing facility for:
Canning-Pre-Weigh: working with chemicals in the manufacturing of paint. Weigh up of raw materials following a formulation. Working with powders and liquids, both solvent and water based raw materials in blending and dispersing. Using high speed dispersers, pumps, scales and printers, forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools etc. House keeping in area. Physical work, bending, crouching, lifting. Busy and demanding work. WHIMIS
We are looking for mature individuals that display strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strength with multi-tasking and making solid informed decisions.
To be a success in this position, you will be a quick study, have mathematical skills, industrial or warehouse experience. Must read and write English. Can lift 50 lbs., and can work independently or in a team environment. This is a fast paced demanding work environment, only serious individuals need apply. Forklift, WHIMIS, lean manufacturing, use of pallet jacks, power tools, scales an asset.
