Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
- Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats according to company standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and serving stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within the food industry
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
