Job Summary
Our client is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Quality Technician to strengthen day-to-day quality on their manufacturing floor. This is a practical quality role for someone who can inspect, solve problems, work with production and help with continuiously building stronger quality systems as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precise measurement tools such as calipers and gauges.
- Collect, analyze, and document quality data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for process improvement.
- Perform thorough quality control checks at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing quality management systems aligned with industry best practices.
- Support root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, non-conformance reports, and audit documentation.
- Participate in internal audits and support external compliance assessments to uphold certification standards.
- Contribute to ongoing training initiatives by sharing knowledge on quality procedures and inspection techniques.
- Utilize analysis skills to interpret data effectively, facilitating informed decision-making for process enhancements.
Skills
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and quality assurance principles.
- Comfortable working directly on the production floor
- Ability to read drawings and perform dimensional inspections
- Experience with NCRs, root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Experience with inspection and measurement equipment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Automotive, composites, defence or aerospace experience is an asset
- Someone who takes ownership and follows problems through to resolution

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
