Client Care Receptionist (CCR)

Cambrian Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Part-Time Client Care Receptionist to join our growing team.
As the first person of contact for our clients, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our clients and their furry friends. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, detailed oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
About Us
Cambrian Animal Hospital is a dog and cat primary care facility located 15 minutes from downtown Calgary. We are a 3 DVM, and 9 member support team hospital open Monday to Fridays. No Weekends! Our hospital is equipped with in-house IDEXX blood and urine analyzers, digital radiology (including dental) and a fully functioning surgery suite.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow
- Process payments and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist clients with product purchases and prescription requests
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Maintain a clean and organized retail area
- Support the overall client experience from check-in to check-out
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable learning veterinary software and administrative processes
- Previous reception, customer service, or veterinary experience is considered an asset
- Availability to work evenings
