Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to precisely bend and shape sheet metal components according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate press brake machines using technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to achieve accurate bends and formations.
- Operate press brake equipment safely and efficiently, monitoring the process for quality and consistency throughout production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on press brake machinery to minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, measuring tools, and visual checks to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes that require precise metal bending or forming.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols related to machinery operation, crane use, forklift handling, and material storage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or metalworking environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, or CNC laser systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring parts with calipers and performing calculations related to machine setup.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and quality inspection procedures is desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently during setup or repair tasks.
- Experience with forklift operation or crane handling is advantageous for material movement within the workspace.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
