Our client is seeking an
Organizational Change Manager / Change Management Specialist to support the
Procurement System Modernization initiative and the ongoing sustainment and optimization of operations and functionality. You’ll partner with internal teams and stakeholder networks to develop and deliver change strategies, communications, and adoption supports that help impacted groups transition successfully from current state to future state. You will lead change management and communication deliverables that drive
adoption, sustained use, and continuous improvement across the organization.
What you’ll do

Partner with project sponsors, project teams, operational teams, vendors, cross-functional teams, and the change network to ensure change activities are completed

Support schedule planning and work planning; estimate resource needs and monitor progress toward deliverables

Assist with risk and issue management related to change activities

Develop and deliver presentations to multiple levels (executive, branch leadership, management, etc.)

Plan and facilitate stakeholder meetings and working sessions

Lead stakeholder identification, analysis, and engagement planning
-
Conduct gap analysis and change impact assessments
-
Develop and execute change strategies and integrated change plans
-
Develop and execute communication plans, including writing engaging communications and materials

Develop resistance management plans and support leaders through adoption challenges
-
Define success metrics, monitor change progress, and report on outcomes

Conduct readiness assessments and support ongoing adoption/sustainment activities

Provide advisory support on consistent application of change management methods/tools

Leverage approved digital/collaboration tools (and AI-enabled tools where appropriate) aligned with Government of Alberta policies and standards

Support sustainable rollout of new technology solutions and applications
What you bring

Demonstrated experience delivering organizational change management for enterprise initiatives (technology and/or business transformation)

Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills across diverse groups and senior levels

Excellent written communication skills (ability to craft compelling, clear messaging)

Experience with change impact analysis, readiness assessments, and adoption metrics

Ability to work effectively in a structured, multi-stakeholder environment
This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week in Edmonton, Alberta.
