Holloway Painting is looking for an experienced, skilled painter who can step into an active crew and contribute immediately.
We have a busy summer schedule and need another quality painter to help keep projects moving. This is a full-time seasonal position through October 15, 2026.
For the right person, there may be an opportunity to continue with Holloway Painting beyond October 15 based on performance, fit with the team, and available workload, but ongoing employment beyond the seasonal term is not guaranteed.
What You'll Do
- Prepare surfaces including cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and caulking
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brush, roller and spray equipment
- Complete detailed work on trim, doors and finishes
- Maintain clean, organized and professional job sites
- Work efficiently as part of an established painting crew
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, supervisors and other crew members
- Help keep projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional painting experience
- Able to step into a crew and work independently without extensive training
- Strong brush and roller skills
- Experience with interior and exterior residential painting
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual and able to work full-time
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Physically able to work on your feet, climb ladders and perform normal painting duties
- Able to distinguish colours accurately
Nice to Have
- Spray experience (airless or conventional)
- Wood finishing or staining experience
- Wallpaper or specialty finishes
Pay & Position Details
- $25–$32 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time seasonal position
- Immediate start
- Position runs through October 15, 2026
- Consistent work throughout our busy summer season
