Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper/Customer Service Rep to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for wrapping, labeling, and preparing meat products for customers & retail counter. This role requires a strong commitment to food safety and customer service, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Applicant must be available to work Monday to Friday 8:30am-4pm with rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm. Own reliable means of transportation is required
Duties
- Wrap and package meat products efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Label products accurately
- Ensure all meat displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing excellent customer service and upselling when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
- Perform cash handling duties as needed during customer transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to assist in stock rotation.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate pricing and transactions.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet production schedules.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is highly advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate pricing and cash handling tasks.
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
