Red Cap Propane Ltd. is hiring a Yard Worker for our Stratford location.

Direct Reports: None. Supports other Yard Workers, Service Team, and Drivers

Main Purpose of the Job:
To maintain our yards at all our properties, maintain propane tanks, make deliveries, wash vehicles, fill propane cylinders, and other duties as required.
Educational Requirement:
· G Driver’s License and ability to drive a truck with a trailer, Forklift License
· Working knowledge and experience with tools, safety equipment
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as assigned
· Drive forklift to move items around the yard and in the garages
· Refurbish and paint tanks, fill propane tanks and cylinders
· Make deliveries or pick up items in a truck requiring a G license
· Cut grass, shovel snow, rake leaves, maintain flowerbeds, lawn, and yard
· Perform minor maintenance, wash vehicles
· Willingness to be trained on: Forklift, Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification (Fuel and Propane), WHMIS training, Health and Safety Training, Cylinder filling license, Propane Pump Attendant certificate, Respirator Fit Testing, Visual Inspection and Requalification of Propane Cylinders Certificate, and Worker Health and Safety in Four Steps
· Work well with employees and be courteous to customers
· Help with inventory management.
· Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
· Must be able to sit, stand, paint, and drive throughout the day
· Indoor and outdoor work year-round
· Ability to lift at least 60 lbs.
