This is a split role — roughly half your time will be spent at the front counter serving walk-in customers, and the other half in the shop building and repairing hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies. You'll need to be equally comfortable with people and with hands-on technical work.
Responsibilities Front Counter
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, identifying their needs and recommending the right products or assemblies
- Handle order intake and communicate lead times or job status clearly and professionally
- Build rapport with customers and contribute to the positive reputation we've earned over 11+ years
Shop Work
- Fabricate and assemble hydraulic hose assemblies across a range of fittings, pressures, and configurations
- Perform industrial hose assembly and repair
- Carry out general shop repairs with a focus on hydraulic systems
- Maintain shop organization and manage hose/fitting inventory
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable and confident dealing with customers face-to-face — friendly, professional, and helpful
- Some mechanical background required — hands-on experience in any trade or technical field is a strong foundation
- Hydraulics experience is a plus but not required; we're willing to train the right person
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to shift between counter and shop duties throughout the day
