THE BREAKDOWN:
- Wages: Competitive hourly pay starting at $27/hour (Fair wage, non-union)
- Shift: Full-time, 3-week placement
- Start Date: 2nd week of September
- First Day Schedule: Arrive at 7:45 AM on Day 1, 8:00am on the rest of the days
- Location: Victoria, BC (In-Person)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sorting garbage materials into specific categories for an environmental Waste Composition Study.
- Assisting with the physical management and organization of waste samples.
- Working as part of a professional environmental research team.
- Working undercover in an open-air environment (must be prepared for variable coastal weather).
Requirements:
- MANDATORY PPE: CSA-Approved Steel-Toed Boots (Safety requirement—no boots, no entry), Hi-Visibility Safety Vest, and Safety Glasses.
- Gloves and additional specialized PPE provided on-site.
- Certification: WHMIS 2015 is required.
- Must be able to fully commit to the entire 3-week duration of the study.
- Must complete timesheets daily and submit at the end of each week for timely payment processing.
- Candidate must have access to a vehicle
