We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Administrative Assistant to be the welcoming face of our company.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience while providing administrative support to our sales and operations teams. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Cranbrook Flooring does not have an LMIA for this position. Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada and must reside in the local area or be willing to relocate.
What You'll Do
Reception & Customer Service
- Welcome customers, visitors, and contractors with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls and inquiries appropriately.
- Respond to customer questions promptly and professionally, both in person and by phone.
- Ensure every customer receives outstanding service from their first interaction.
Administrative Support
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer records.
- Prepare, organize, and file digital and paper documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, emails, and correspondence.
- Assist with general office administration and support the sales and management teams.
- Help coordinate appointments, meetings, and daily office activities.
Office Organization
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Keep the reception area clean, welcoming, and professional.
- Monitor office and showroom supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Support a positive, organized, and efficient workplace.
Qualifications / Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or office administration role.
- Experience working in a professional office environment.
- Experience using multi-line phone systems.
- Experience with filing systems and accurate data entry.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Comfortable learning new software and office systems.
