Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Driver & Mover to join our team in Timmins, Ontario. In this position, your primary responsibility will be operating our vehicles, with hands-on assistance for moving duties as needed.
This is a part-time position with on-call availability preferred.
Shift Details & Hours
- Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday.
- Start Times: Generally morning starts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
- Note: Out-of-town moves may require earlier start times (less frequent).
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery/moving vehicles to and from designated locations.
- Assist with loading, unloading, padding, and securing furniture and heavy items.
- Provide professional, polite customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintain safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licence: Valid AZ or AR licence preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of AZ/AR driving experience preferred for insurance purposes (we are actively exploring insurance options for drivers with under 3 years of experience).
- Moving Experience: Prior moving, freight, or logistics experience is an asset, but not required.
- Physical Capability: Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items while assisting with moves.
- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and strong communication skills.
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and licence class).
