Part-Time PSW / Caregiver Needed — Markham
79-year-old gentleman living in Markham near McCowan Road and Bur Oak Avenue. mostly mobile and independent, but has a serious heart condition and need reliable part-time support to help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and comfortable home.
Iooking for a calm, dependable, organized PSW/caregiver who can assist with:
- Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and home organization
- Simple meal preparation and kitchen clean-up
- Grocery shopping or organizing grocery delivery
- Driving to medical appointments, errands, and occasionally the hospital
- Medication organization and refill reminders
- Basic household tasks such as refilling a humidifier and checking air purifier filters
- Companionship and calm support during the day
The ideal person is kind, mature, reliable, respectful, and able to remain calm in urgent situations. Comfort with basic computer use, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, internet searches, or AI tools would be helpful but is not required.
The schedule would begin with 2 days per week, about 6 hours per day, to ensure compatibility. If it is a good fit, it may increase to 4–5 days per week. Occasional longer daytime coverage may be needed.
Experience with North American, Mediterranean, European, Middle Eastern, or Japanese food and household styles would be appreciated.
