Overview
I am an Owner Operator who works City-wide with 4Tracks Ltd. in Winnipeg. I am looking for a driver for evening/night shift for my truck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate truck to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding transportation as applicable.
- Company specific training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- 1 year experience in freight transportation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as and if required.
