Hiring Salary Range: $89,250.00-115,500.00 / year

This role leads the development and delivery of integrated energy solutions that support AUX Energy's growth strategy, providing technical leadership across the full customer lifecycle: from opportunity identification and solution design through contract execution and deployment. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the role develops innovative, commercially viable solutions in areas such as EV charging, distributed energy resources, solar, battery storage, and other energy transition initiatives while ensuring alignment with customer needs, operational capabilities, and business objectives.
General Accountabilities:
Supports Hydro One in making strategic decisions through technical analysis, business case development, solution design, and impactful communication.
With moderate instruction and guidance, performs error-free and insightful research, technical analysis, and project coordination that supports Strategy & Innovation projects.
Stays on top of key market developments (technology, regulation, M&A, customer needs, etc.) within the Power & Utility and wider Electricity/Energy industry that may be relevant to Hydro One.
Performs project coordination activities, including managing technical inputs, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting project execution through key milestones.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, finance, business, or a related field. Additional specialized education, including a master’s degree (specifically an MBA) or equivalent, is beneficial.
Two or more years of experience developing and evaluating technical solutions, business cases, or strategic models in an asset- or capital-intensive industry (preferably Electricity but others will be considered).
Understanding of electricity industry concepts and distributed energy resources, including fleet electrification, renewable energy, and energy storage technologies.
A strong passion for the Electricity industry and a desire to be part of the myriad changes occurring within it (new technology, regulation, government goals, etc.).

The base salary for this role considers a variety of factors, including candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, education, and any applicable collective agreement requirements for union-represented positions.
