Your Opportunity!
Knollcrest Lodge is recruiting for a Casual Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to join our team in Milverton. In this role, you will provide coverage on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours or regular schedule. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, and weekends based on operational needs. This role may also provide opportunities for cross-training in other departments, such as Dietary, for qualified individuals who express interest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, as well as dining rooms after each meal
- Maintain housekeeping carts and closets in a tidy and organized manner, and replenish supplies as required
- Properly sort, wash, and dry linens in accordance with specified laundry procedures
- Assist in the collection and delivery of residents’ personal laundry and facility linens
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping/laundry is an asset
- Ability to read and write in English, and understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong team player with the ability to cooperate with colleagues and department heads
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other colleagues
