Pathways to Independence requires a Full Time Temporary (up to 12 months) Client Service Manager (CSM) in the Quinte Region. The Client Services Manager (CSM) provides leadership, supervision, guidance and coaching to a team of direct support professionals to provide quality services that are responsive to the needs of persons served, reflective of the program goals and consistent with Pathways' Vision, Mission and Strategic plan. The CSM ensures effective and efficient planning, implementation and evaluation of Pathways programs and services. The CSM will coach, develop and manage employees for optimum performance in support of Pathways clients. The CSM will plan and maintain systems and procedures to ensure operating efficiencies, prepare budgets and manage expenditures. This position is responsible to ensure the services are compliant with all applicable legislative, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation standards.
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications & skills:
- Minimum diploma or degree in a Human Services Field from an accredited College or University.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Goal oriented ability to plan and implement change.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, the collective agreement and experience working in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge and experience of services for person with a developmental disability, some of whom may have complex needs, or acquired brain injury.
- Knowledge and experience with community-based services.
- Knowledge and experience with budget and financial reports.
- Proficient in the use of computers and software programs, including Microsoft Office and databases.
