Position: Bookkeeper / Administrative assistant
Location: Beaverbank , Windgate Drive
Hours: Full-time
Rate: $20 - 24 an hour depending on experience

Our organization is seeking the right person to join our small, close knit team of professionals. The ideal candidate would rapidly be able to self-manage and contribute to the organization in a positive manner.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Administrative duties: First point of contact for calls with all company matters, AP, AR and delegation of such calls to appropriate department if necessary.
- Assist with filing and updating of maintenance records, repair orders, and other administrative filing tasks
- Accounts payable: Matching POs/Packing Slips and Invoices and entering them.
- Assisting with collection of data
- Additional duties as assigned by the Owners or Controller.
The requirements for this position are:
- Post-secondary education not required – only a good work ethic .
- Two to four years’ experience with the responsibility of supporting the bookkeeping and basic accounting and related needs (of a mid-sized privately held organization is a definite asset).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
- Average computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience using Simply Accounting, Excel and other office software definitely an asset.
- Good communication skills
