Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality through rigorous inspection, analysis, and data collection. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using appropriate measurement tools such as calipers.
- Perform detailed quality control checks to ensure products meet specified standards and customer requirements.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends or deviations that may indicate process issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of quality management systems and procedures.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in internal audits and support compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights based on data analysis and inspection findings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control techniques, quality inspection processes, and QA/QC standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers for precise inspections.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for meticulous documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and product specifications is preferred.
- Prior experience with data collection systems or software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is integral to ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards while supporting ongoing operational excellence within our manufacturing facility.
Pay: $17.37-$27.98 per hour
