About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and independent Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who understands global sourcing, supplier management, and inventory planning, and can take ownership without needing constant direction.
You will play a key role in ensuring our supply chain runs efficiently by sourcing new overseas manufacturers, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining optimal inventory levels through strategic planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and onboard new overseas manufacturers and suppliers
- Vet suppliers thoroughly for quality, reliability, pricing, and production capabilities
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and production timelines
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery
- Track and analyze supplier lead times from order to delivery
- Maintain strong communication with overseas suppliers (especially during evening hours)
- Monitor current inventory levels and ensure stock never falls below minimum thresholds
- Analyze historical purchasing data to forecast demand and plan future production
- Develop and maintain production plans aligned with business growth
- Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with sales and operations
Work Schedule & Structure
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM: In-office (Surrey)
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Remote (supplier communication & coordination)
This structure is designed to align with overseas time zones and ensure efficient communication with international partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of overseas manufacturing and supplier dynamics
- Experience working with international suppliers (China/Asia preferred)
- Ability to independently manage responsibilities and make informed decisions
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory planning and forecasting
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working flexible hours to align with global time zones
