OV Surgical Centre Ltd. is an accredited independent surgical facility located in Toronto, Ontario. We are expanding our orthopaedic surgery program and are seeking an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a part-time basis.

Position Summary
The successful candidate will have strong orthopaedic surgical experience and thrive in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based practice.
- Circulate and/or scrub for orthopaedic surgical procedures.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms, equipment, and surgical supplies.
- Monitor patients during the perioperative period and recognize changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Accreditation Canada standards, infection prevention and control practices, and organizational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Current Perioperative Nursing Certificate
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of recent perioperative nursing experience.
- Recent orthopaedic surgical experience is required.
- Experience circulating and/or scrubbing orthopaedic procedures, including total joint arthroplasty and sports medicine.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
