Laundry Attendant
Location: Gravenhurst, ON
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
2 days of training would be provided (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
Job Overview
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendants to join our team in Gravenhurst. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens while ensuring laundry operations run efficiently.
Responsibilities
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other laundry items
Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely
Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Ensure laundry is completed accurately and on schedule
Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Assist with other housekeeping or laundry-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Able to lift and carry laundry bags and linen carts as needed
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Pay: $19.00 per hour
