Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Hydraulic Drill Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate hydraulic drilling equipment to support various construction projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge will be vital in delivering high-quality results on every project.
Duties
- Operate hydraulic drilling machinery safely and efficiently to complete drilling tasks according to project specifications
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment, including checks on hydraulic systems and mechanical components
- Coordinate with team members to set up drill sites, including positioning and stabilizing equipment using loaders, dozers, or graders as needed
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth measurements and site conditions
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hydraulic drills and related heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and Caterpillar machinery
- Assist with the operation of other heavy equipment like loaders, graders, dozers, and paving machines when required
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues
Experience
- Proven experience operating hydraulic drills in a construction or mining environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dozers
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and equipment
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in operating heavy machinery on job sites
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and procedures
- Prior experience in paving or road construction projects is an asset

Pay: $38.00-$49.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
