Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform quality inspections to identify any defects or issues
- Operate tooling and machinery such as shears, brakes, and presses
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Sheet Metal fabrication or a related field is required.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of metal materials and their properties
- Familiarity with operating tooling and machinery
Hourly wage based off apprenticeship level and experience.
