Noble Grape is Atlantic Canada's leading supplier of home beer brewing and wine making products. We're looking for a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate who enjoys working with customers, learning new skills, and being part of a small, passionate team.
Whether our customers are making their very first batch of wine or have been brewing beer for years, you'll help guide them to the right products and provide an exceptional shopping experience.
$20/hr starting wage plus commission on store sales.
No brewing or wine making experience? That's okay. If you have great customer service skills and enjoy learning, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Processing of customers wines and beers on-site
- Help customers choose brewing, wine making, cider and distilling supplies
- Operate the POS system and process sales accurately
- Recommend products and accessories to help customers succeed
- Answer customer questions in-store, by phone and by email
- Learn our products so you can confidently assist customers
What we're looking for
- Retail or customer service experience
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Comfortable speaking with customers and making recommendations
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work Saturdays
These are considered assets but are not required:
- Beer brewing experience
- Wine making experience
- Sales experience
- Interest in craft beer or wine
