Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a positive first impression
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros, Toast POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety protocols
- Ensure cleanliness of the service area, bar, and dining spaces in compliance with health standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet table before and after shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros, Toast POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
