Olympic Service, a division of Olympic International Sales, is rapidly growing, and we are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our Kelowna team! We specialize in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, such as Daikin Comfort, Daikin Applied, Aermec, and various other products. We pride ourselves in being a top-tier HVAC solutions provider, promoting high-level customer service and industry-leading technological assistance.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a helper or HVAC apprentice to join our team in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of using hand tools and HVAC systems such as: chillers, modular heat pumps, hydronic systems, VRV/VRF systems, design, controls, and building systems.
This role reports to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with and under the supervision of Journeyperson.
- Conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Performing diagnostic tests and identifying problems with the HVAC/R systems.
- Conducting regular maintenance and upkeep of HVAC/R systems.
- Providing exceptional customer service and communication with clients.
- Liaising with the project management team to ensure all work is completed on time and on budget.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required
- Helper/Beginner into trade or HVAC/R Apprentice level 1-3.
- Preferred commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration experience.
- Entry Level knowledge of chillers, VRF equipment, controls and building systems.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Entry level ability to sufficiently review mechanical schematics, and shop drawings.

Pay: $21.18-$56.98 per hour
