About the Role
We are hiring two Commercial Truck & Transport Mechanics to support maintenance and repair of motorcoaches, crew buses, and related fleet equipment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, understands heavy mechanical systems, and can adapt to a fast‑paced transportation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on buses and motorcoaches
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Support out‑of‑town service calls when required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Communicate effectively with operations, drivers and administration
- Ensure all work meets safety, regulatory, and company standards\
Requirements
- Truck & Transport Mechanic certification or relevant apprenticeship level
- Experience working on heavy-duty equipment, buses, or commercial vehicles
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Valid driver’s licence (Class 1, 2, or 3 with air brake preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Willingness to travel for out‑of‑town work when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
