Cleaning Supervisor – Event Cleaning
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hands-on, and passionate about delivering high-quality cleaning services while leading and supporting staff in the field.
Position Overview
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations for Event cleaning projects. You will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring cleaning standards are met, training new team members, and following up to ensure training is properly implemented. The location is at 1 Tragically Hip Way: The Slush Puppie Place.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support cleaning staff at the event cleaning site.
- Conduct on-site training for new employees, clean with them and provide ongoing coaching and follow-up.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards and client expectations. Which is the city of Kingston's requirements.
- Perform quality control inspections and address any issues promptly and professionally.
- Operate cleaning equipment and floor machines when required.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner with clients and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the cleaning or janitorial industry.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on cleaning experience.
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and follow up with staff effectively.
- Floor machine experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Speak English
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and will increase after training is completed. Starting at $20/hour until training within our system is completed.
