Enterprise Account Executive

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a growth-stage AI company (~90 people, founded 2019) building a leading claims-intelligence platform — applied AI for high-stakes decisions in the insurance industry, with 100% customer retention. As the second Enterprise AE, reporting directly to the CEO, you'll own complex enterprise cycles at major North American insurance carriers against a $2.25M new-net-ARR quota.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the full sales cycle from discovery solution mapping business case security/legal close handoff. Build 3x pipeline coverage through outbound hunting with BDR support. Lead executive, ROI-focused conversations with C-suite insurance leaders. Collaborate cross-functionally on pilots and production contracts. Represent the company at industry events and customer sites.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
First 90 days: ramp on the platform and carrier buyer, and build 3x pipeline coverage. First year: close new-logo enterprise carriers toward the $2.25M NNARR quota and establish a repeatable motion.
MUST-HAVES
3–6 years selling enterprise SaaS new-logo deals with a $1.5M+ annual quota; a true hunter profile; comfort with complex, multi-stakeholder carrier deals; existing Canadian work authorization.
NICE-TO-HAVES
Insurance, insurtech, or claims-technology experience; experience as an early enterprise AE; ROI/business-case selling to C-suite.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
CA$140K–CA$175K base, CA$280K–CA$350K OTE (50/50, uncapped) against a $2.25M NNARR quota; stock options (4-year vest, 1-year cliff).
LOCATION & WORK MODEL
On-site in Vancouver, BC, working East Coast hours as needed; 10–20% travel.
