About Us
PhysioChiroWellness is a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic providing Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Naturopathy, Rehabilitation, and Wellness Services. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) / Rehab Therapist to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver treatment programs prescribed by Physiotherapists and other licensed healthcare providers.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs.
- Set up and administer therapeutic modalities such as:
- IFC / TENS
- Heat and Cold Therapy
- Red & Infrared Light Therapy
- Shockwave Therapy
- Spinal Decompression
- Monitor patient progress and report findings to supervising providers.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and treatment recommendations.
- Assist with treatment room preparation, equipment maintenance, and clinic organization.
- Complete accurate SOAP notes and treatment documentation before the end of each shift.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and patient-centered experience.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Physiotherapist Assistant Diploma
- Kinesiology Degree
- Exercise Science Degree
- Fitness & Health Promotion Diploma
- Occupational Therapist Assistant / Physiotherapist Assistant Diploma
- Relevant rehabilitation or healthcare education
Skills & Experience
- Experience in physiotherapy, chiropractic, rehabilitation, fitness, or healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of exercise prescription and rehabilitation principles.
- Experience with electronic medical records is an asset.
