Your Area of Focus
As an Internal Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet dealership quality standards.
You will complete detailed inspections, identify required repairs, and perform mechanical work to prepare vehicles for resale. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
What Drives Your Day-to-Day

Complete pre-owned vehicle inspections and reconditioning assessments

Perform SGI inspections and identify required repairs
-
Complete 180-point inspections and quality checks
-
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across various vehicle systems

Perform repairs and maintenance required to prepare vehicles for resale

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle concerns
-
Ensure completed work meets quality and safety standards
-
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate vehicle findings when required

Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and consistency
What are the must-haves…
-
3–4 years of automotive technician experience preferred
-
Completed second-year apprenticeship training (minimum)

Experience working on used vehicles, pre-owned inspections, or reconditioning
-
SGI inspection experience/certification is an asset
-
Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic abilities

Own tools required

Basic computer skills
-
Valid Canadian driver’s license and safe driving history

Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to work
