We are a community pharmacy looking for a reliable, kind, and compassionate Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping others and understands that medication delivery is more than just dropping off a package — it is an opportunity to provide care, reassurance, and a friendly connection to our patients.
You will be responsible for delivering prescription medications to patients' homes while providing exceptional customer service and taking the time to interact with patients at the point of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prescription medications safely and on time to patients' homes.
- Complete scheduled delivery routes during morning and afternoon delivery periods.
- Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to patients.
- Spend time with patients during deliveries and ensure they feel supported and cared for.
- Take and record blood pressure readings when required.
- Communicate any patient concerns or delivery issues with the pharmacy team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Caring and patient-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys interacting with seniors and patients who may appreciate additional support and conversation.
- Knowledge of common medications, including medication names and their general uses.
- Comfortable taking blood pressure readings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service experience is an asset.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for deliveries completed using your personal vehicle.
