Fort Park Property Management and Real Estate, a dynamic and fast-growing Strata Property Management Company, is looking to hire a full-time Corporate Accountant/ Bookeeper. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the CEO.
This is a full-time office job with Monday- Friday, 9-5 hours, and you will be working out of our office in East Richmond (22091 Fraserwood Way, Richmond), with the ability to work from home two days per week after your probationary period (3 months). Knowledge of how to use accounting software (Yardi Voyager and Quickbooks), attention to detail, and a positive attitude are critical.
A minimum of one year experience working with Strata Property accounting is required. Accounts receivable experience is required. Salary and benefits are negotiable. Please send your resume, along with salary expectations to [email protected]
Responsibility and Primary Functions
Processing high volumes of Strata invoices
Communicating with vendors
Assisting the Strata Accounting team with their duties when required.
Miscellaneous administrative duties as required
Paying corporate invoices for all related companies
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
· 1-3 years of accounting/finance experience
· Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience with accounting software
· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
· Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
· Highly detail-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
