SUMMARY:
As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established Marriott brand standards and procedures.
- Change bed linens and make beds in accordance with hotel standards.
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Ensure that all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected properly.
- Check and restock minifridges and coffee stations.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
