Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have strong wine knowledge (WSET 3 or ISG 2 preferred),restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is vital in ensuring smooth restaurant flow, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a motivated team to achieve operational excellence. Previous experience in high volume and fine dining is an asset. This is a great opportunity to be a part of one of Vancouver's longest standing independant restaurants.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
- Manage team members through effective leadership, including interviewing, training,
- Peform proper wine service based on flow of the restaurant
- Monitor customer service interactions to uphold excellent hospitality standards
- Enforce food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Lead by example in serving customers, managing conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and smooth service flow
Experience
- 3 years management experience in upscale casual
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management capabilities
- Experience in managing restaurant operations effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations in the food industry
- Bar management background is a plus

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
