Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESL Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to diverse student populations, helping them improve their language skills and achieve their academic and personal goals. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to students’ proficiency levels and learning objectives
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support language development
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods and educational resources to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the delivery of comprehensive language education
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with special education requirements when applicable
- Foster effective communication with students, parents, and staff to promote student success
Skills
- Strong teaching skills with experience in classroom management and curriculum development
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey lessons and feedback
- Prior classroom experience in ESL or related educational settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with unique learning needs
- Ability to create an engaging, supportive learning environment that motivates students to succeed
- Flexibility and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and cultural backgrounds
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
