Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Epic and Abeldent, as well as familiarity with orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology, will be highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when required
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred, especially in orthodontics or pediatrics
- Knowledge of dental software platforms such as Epic and Abeldent is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is beneficial
- Experience working with CAD systems for imaging or lab work is a plus
- Certification in dental assisting or related training programs is preferred but not mandatory
